Christian Health Service Corps seeks Family Medicine Physicians to serve in one of our partnered hospitals and health projects in the above countries. This role involves providing primary care, with the option for maternal health and C-Section duties if experienced. Physicians work in underserved communities, collaborating to strengthen local health systems and train healthcare providers.
Core Responsibilities:
Serving as attending faculty for family medicine residency - delivering medical care in patient and outpatient settings for all age groups.
Address outpatient and inpatient needs for both adults and children.
OB/GYN and C-Section procedures (if credentialed, but not required).
Participate in building medical capacity, community education, and protocol sharing.
Lead or assist with local health team training.
Requirements:
Board-certified (or board-eligible) Family Medicine Physician.
OB/C-Section experience beneficial but not required.
Global health/medical missions experience valued.
Ability to work cross-culturally and support Christian mission values.
Compensation:
Position funded through missionary support raising (deputized fundraising).
Training and resources for fundraising will be provided.
Term of Service:
Standard commitment is 3 years.
Short-term volunteer positions are also open for Family Medicine Physicians minimum commitment of one month.
